Brief history

TelemarketingTelemarketing S.A. is a Greek company founded in 1987. The main sales activity that the company launched at this time was the promotion of unique collectibles under the trademark "International Unique Collections". Concurrently to support the sales of the collectibles, the company developed a mail order division responsible for sales captured through correspondence.  This activity was quickly enhanced to support advertisements placed in the mass media.

Having developed the infrastructure both organizationally and data processing wise, in 1991 Telemarketing S.A. dynamically opens electronic sales in Greece with the introduction of teleshopping on the national broadcasting channel, ANTENNA. From 1993 , this activity has expanded to encompass the remaining national and local broadcasting channels.

In 1996, an agreement is reached with the renowned international sales catalogue OTTO and the company assumes the exclusive marketing and sales activities of this catalogue in Greece.

In 1998, the company capitalizes its experience and infrastructure in supporting mail order sales and establishes the service titled Telemarketing Fulfillment Services (TFS).  This service enables other companies in the mail order business to outsource all back-office activities to Telemarketing.

Since 2000 and onwards after successfully completing a period of testing, the company launches its first E-commerce site on the Internet. In the same year, the company establishes a telephone sales division thereby offering significant direct sales opportunities to its customer base.

In 2001, the company opens retail sales outlets in major cities of Greece with the distinctive name Telemarketing Store.

Lastly, over the years Telemarketing S.A. has acquired subsidiary companies in areas such as teleshopping, audio-visual-multimedia production and computer-peripherals-office supplies.

All of the Company's products are covered by the  "Telemarketing Gold Guarantee".  This guarantee assures the customers that their purchases are made with no risks and are coupled with the guarantee of proper operation, as well as the right to return the product not offering the fullest level of customer satisfaction.

Under this auspice of continuous improvements in customer service, the company obtained in 2005 the ISO 9001:2000 accreditation in all areas of Customer Service.

Lastly, Telemarketing was one of the founding companies of the Direct Sales and Marketing Companies Union.  This union  is dedicated to the promotion and growth of this industry in combination with the advocation of consumer rights.
