Ice cream cake for our party

The time has come ... the time of the cake! We were looking forward to it. We are already tired of the rest of the procedures and we would like something easy, delicious, healthy and impressive! Are we asking for a lot? Not if we have the right tools and of course, taste.

So let's start with our recipe. We give you the basic recipe, but everyone can add their own personal note, using imagination.

 

Ice Cream Cake Recipe

Ingredients for ice cream:

  • 1 sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 1 box of vegetable cream (out of the fridge)
  • Half a cup of cocoa
  • Pieces of couverture

Materials for the base:

  • 1 box of petit fours (or digestive or miranda or oreo type cookies)
  • 1 packet of butter

Decoration materials (optional):

  • Strawberries
  • Chocolate couverture melted

Execution:
Melt the butter in a saucepan or kettle. Crush our cookies in a simple blender and then mix the melted butter with the crushed cookies to make a dough. We press it with our hand in a pastry hoop and make the base of our cake.

And now the creation game begins! We can, if we wish, pour some syrup of our choice over our base for extra flavor. When we are done, we put our hoop in the fridge to cool down and welcome the ice cream that will come from above.

Let's go to the ice cream!

Beat with a strong mixer all the ingredients together for a very short time (until the ingredients are homogenous). Then, we pour our mixture into our ice cream machine (because without an ice cream machine, it is not possible) and let it prepare on its own. When our ice cream has risen, we take it out of the ice cream machine and throw it in our hoop, spreading with gentle movements its creamy, velvety texture.

Place it in the freezer for about half an hour and take it out to decorate it with imagination. In this particular recipe we decided to decorate our cake with fresh strawberries and melted chocolate.

The process is simple. Melt the chocolate in a baking pan or in the microwave and pour over the ice cream. Immediately after, add the strawberries on top and simmer in the freezer! Leave it for at least 3 hours and when you take it out to cut it, take it out 5-10 minutes earlier (depending on the outside temperature) to cut it.
But beware! Do not let it melt, because if it is very hot, it melts easily.

Creative tips:
1) Instead of chocolate-flavored ice cream, you can not add cocoa and chocolate and leave it plain vanilla. Also, in the vanilla, you can add cookies (oreo, petit fours, etc.), or chocolates to make statsiatella. Let your imagination run wild and add whatever you want (nuts, candy, etc.)
2) In decorating the cake, "play" freely with your favorite flavors and favorite colors. Add cookies, nuts, melted milk or bitter chocolate, fruit, syrups, jams, cigars or smarties.
