Know your rights, before you shop

Know your rights, before you shop

As a consumer, when you pay for a product or a service, either online or in a physical store, in any Member State of the EU, you have rights. EU legislation - with which our company is fully aligned - ensures fair customer treatment, the display of accurate information and the ability to exercise your rights, if something goes wrong.

Read 3 main provisions of Law 2291/1994 on consumer protection, as in force after the CMD Z1-891/13.08.2013, that governs all transactions from June 15 2014.

1. Be fully informed about what you buy

All companies who advertise or sell products or provide services in the EU are obliged to offer accurate and detailed information on the product, the seller's contact details and conditions governing your purchase, so that you can be informed and make a conscious choice.

In tmstore.gr you will find detailed information on the characteristics of each product, along with instructions, photos, videos, prices, information on dimensions, availability and warranties. Furthermore, in your cart you can select the desired payment and delivery method and will be informed on the shipment costs.

Under Terms and Conditions you can find the contractual terms governing your orders with tmstore.gr, which are fully aligned with the European legislation on distance selling. In addition, you can find our full details, plus contact information, both in Terms and Conditions and in our Contact Us section.

2. You have 14 days to change your mind about your purchase

You have 14 days to rethink the purchase you made and inform us that you changed your mind. After you inform us, you have another 14 days to return the product, either through our proposed returns service, or by any other means of your choice. We will then refund the full amount you paid, including shipment costs.

Remember that in order to get a full refund, the product must be in such a condition that permits resale, so you can check the products you purchase, but you should not use them. For example, if you buy shoes, you can try them out at home, but you should not wear them outdoors.

3. Defective goods are repaired or replaced free of charge

If any items purchased in the EU, either through the internet or from a store, do not possess the properties with which they were advertised, or do not work properly, you have at least the right to a free repair or replacement. If the repair or replacement of the product is impossible or impractical, you may request a refund or agree with the seller for the price of the product to be reduced.

These options are valid for electric goods at least two years from the date of purchase from a store, or from the date of delivery to you. For all other products the warranty period varies - in tmstore.gr the guarantee provided is displayed on each product page, and in most cases this is a commercial warranty over and above the statutory mandatory warranty. In addition, any need for repairs during the warranty period and after the expiration, are served directly through our proprietary service.
